Meet Linus of the Pot Dragons

Meet Linus of the Pot Dragons

Linus of the Pot DragonsLinus is eager for the holidays, even if he isn’t quite sure what holidays are. But he has overheard the gardeners working in the tree nursery talking about something called ‘gifts’. And candy, lots of candy.
Linus knows what candy is, in the past he has snuck out of his pot to grab chocolate bars left in the tree nursery by distracted gardeners.
Yum.

Please help give him a loving home!

About Pot Dragons

These small dragons bury a single egg in a freshly potted plant. The dragonling that hatches resembles the plant that shares its pot. Once the dragon reaches adulthood, they grow wings and leave their childhood home behind. You may not have even known you had a pot dragon, only to discover one morning that one (or more) of your pots had been knocked over during the night!

Some Pot Dragons are indifferent to the plants that share their pot. Some eat the plants that share their pot (see Chuck).

Not Peter!

He loves the small pumpkins in his pot. So much so, in fact, that he doesn’t want them to be picked. He’s rather upset about the idea, actually.

Please help give him a loving home!

Meet Violet, of the Pot Dragons

Violet is a bit shy, and rather small for a pot dragon (which is saying something considering their small stature). At times she wishes she lived in a pot full of berries. Dirt tastes rather awful after awhile.

Please help give her a loving home!

A Forest Walk To Remember

A Forest Walk To Remember

Forest Walk

We live near some beautiful parks. The one where we took this forest walk is no exception. The dirt trails are quite fun for the kids and I to explore, and many times we leave the park with my camera full of photos.

I did some post processing on this photo in Lightroom, trying to infuse the sense of serenity I felt while on my walk through the woods.
